I was pondering that maybe something along the lines of the polikarpov I-15 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polikarpov_I-15 might be about right for the Crusaders given what we've learnt. Would be interested to hear what Headzombie's view is though!

An airfield with fuel drums and camo netting would make an excellent scenario!!

I like the biplane - is there a way to make it a pusher? Wink

edit - Sorry - couldn't help myself... and I stuck Rhyfler Maerch in it. Smile

I love that airplane design, Josh!

A thought - since the life and control surfaces are narrow at the tips, perhaps this aircraft is controlled by wires pulling and changing the shape of the wing, as opposed to flaps, ailerons, rudders, etc?

Putting on the wires could be hard, but perhaps with some little hooks or snags a modeller could simply use some thread and make the model really come alive.

No need to carve in those movable parts on the wings, also allows for a thinner wing.

Based on where the wing joins the fuselage it looks like the whole wing can be moved up and down. Love the plane!
