Going through the rules I either am missing this or it isn't in there. Are there any terrain effects? I see one of the scenarios says place linear objects to impede your opponent, but no rules as to how this impedes them? |

Whoops!
I think they were in a draft that got edited for space and not added back into the main manuscript.
Generally I would say objects or terrain features fall into two categories; Difficult and Impassable.
Difficult objects halve the movement rate of the unit. For example a unit moving through 4" of difficult terrain would need to have a movement rating of 8" or more to pass thorough it with one surge. Also, a unit moving over a low wall would have its movement rate halved, to represent the process of staying in ranks while traversing an obstacle.
Skirmishers ignore difficult terrain.
Impassable is exactly that.
Everything else should be considered clear terrain. Always classify objects on the battlefield with your opponent before deployment.
Or, make up your own rules on how terrain effects fighters on the field. HZ and I are used to clarifying terrain effects at the beginning of any game, no matter the system. That is why we didn't notice it missing. We usually make those clarification every time.
Either way just enjoy playing with your toys! _________________ anthony@zombiesmith.com
