Got some really good games in this weekend with NDM and his buddy Ron.
Couple of things right off the bat I see:
We need some Multiplayer scenarios.
The mechanics itself are hilarious!
Poor NDMs Bogen jams trying to shoot a Militia Quar..that's ok we've got the Ryshi for back up..DOAH! DOAH! DOAH!! ANOTHER JAM!!
Winners of the Ambushed Scenario! The boys celebrate with a pint on top of the Termite masher! (Vets are SO much cooler than the average Rhyfler!)
Faddy Grups peers around a Termite mound and watches Ol' Deacon Jan go into action!
And grabbed some pics from NDMs books! More classic Sequoia art!
Good times had by all!!
NDM got a win in during our Pykpyk 3 way which was just brutal at the end, and then another SOA -Double Cross, which ended in a tie as it was nearing midnight and we were just all burned out from gaming and eating like kings (long story...) 2 Pigs for the Crusaders with 3 kills, a Crate and 3 kills for the Militia!
A few highlights:
Militia Quar with Ptn7 runs out of hiding to blast a group of Crusaders, Jams...gets shot and is Shaken, then shot several other times with a lethal...ughh!
Rhyfler makes his Quality to get up from Goes to Ground and is able to get up and shoot! Lowers Bogen on poor Militia, pulls trigger and the gun Jams!!
I swear we must have jammed our weapons a dozen times all during crucial moments in the games.
Comical to say the least! _________________ Tokish prisoner to Constable Edgyr Nikklys on the Fidwog border in Year 8 of the Crusade, after being taken along the frontier "Is the war nearly over you think?"

Ron and I both had a blast playing both SoA and TQW. It was the first time I'd tried out the new rules and I definitely dig em.
Ron's quite taken with the Quar now, especially the pyk pyks, who he's demanded I introduce to his 8 year old Star Wars lovin' daughter. _________________

Awesome stuff.
Quick question. How did you make the termite mounds? They are perfect.
I also love the drawings. It would be great if a book was put together with all of them. They really are funny.

There is a book three coming... won't be an art book, but it will have a lot of art just like the other two! |

NDM, Thanks for the link. Those really look great. I forget you guys have been doing this for over 2 yrs. already. I'll have to go back through all the older posts again for some more inspiration.
HZ, have you ever considered selling just prints of the drawings? I'd buy some and hang them in my man..... errr... Quar cave.

Could this be the ambush alley type one? _________________ The soldiers of Kryst have two famous euphemisms: The sun was in his eyes and delayed by contrary weather. These phrases spend quite a bit of time in each other's company |

More like Star Trek meets Risk meets Apples to Apples.
