New stuff beginneth here:
http://www.zombiesmith.com/pages/alykinder-false-war
Read about how Alykinder goes to war with Lower Barro in sharp contrast to the abortive campaign of Holn that began his career. Learn how the lessons and principles of Airmobile warfare are first applied in large scale. Witness the reconstruction of the Army of Tok, along the lines that will become the template for the Grand Army of the Crusade in the future.
Also please note we have tried for a measure of authenticity and historically-inspired design. I like to think we've struck a note that is clearly Quar, yet grounded in the evolution of military affairs in the early 20th century. _________________ Fluffmonkey. |

I've a question about Alykinder's zeppelins. Do they look enough like historical zeppelins, or do they have more of an odd, quar-ish look ? I think this question have already been answered by a casual "you'll see pictures soon", however I ask because I read now:
The Zeppelin in Combat: A History of the German Naval Airship Division 1912-1918
Book Description
The standard reference now revised and expanded. Dr. Robinson has opened up his vast photo archives to enhance this new edition of his classic work. Much of the new photographic material is published here for the first time., over 350 b/w photographs, line drawings, charts, 8 1/2" x 11"
http://www.amazon.fr/Zeppelin-Combat-History-Division-1912-1918/dp/088740510X/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=english-books&qid=1206151287&sr=8-4
there are really a myriad of B&W photographs useable for "realistic" illustrations of quar aerial warfare...

Agreed. I do hope he keeps doing stuff with his retro feel. |

Ayup, Quar airships will definitely have their own look and feel.
And yes, Miyazaki is a genius.
