Bought it at DunDraCon. Very sharp, very intriguing, the usual Zombiesmith.
Barely shown in just one of the photos online is a pikeman. Well, pikevorix, or whatever. What you can't see is that the length of his pike is just over twice his height. I may have to weight the base to keep him upright! It's a great figure. The commander is the best, though.
Questions:
Should we consider these to be 25mm scale even though the figures are short? It may matter for terrain, etc. It would also matters when we mix these figures with others, so we can have the Elvorix fight what-have-you until their enemies get cast.
I want to get started on these, but of course don't have the rules. Since it's a formation-focused rules set I assume the bases and important and we must use the square bases provided?
Two of my friends bought the preview pack at DunDraCon, too. We're going to have an informal painting contest. I will lose, but I have some great terrain for them... |

Yes, they are 28/30mm scaled figures. They are 4-5ft tall. (Sense a ZS theme?) There are going to be some much bigger figures!
Make sure the pikecritter can rank-up behind the sword critters. Swords a little right and spears a little left on the bases should work. |

Okay... after looking at these games multiple times... order on the way.
Should I order multiple packs or will there be enough variety in future releases. _________________ A prisoner of war is a Quar who tries to kill you and fails, and then asks you not to kill him. |

What I like about them is that their arms are thin enough that you can multi-pose them, by just bending a little bit.
You could literally do a Tortoise shell shield wall with these little guys if you so chose to do.
Put a dozen together and primed today.

Pictures? Did you use what was current available or did you have inside track to other minis? _________________ A prisoner of war is a Quar who tries to kill you and fails, and then asks you not to kill him. |

Ive got some Vidaar. They're just primed, but I love em.
Ive felt gravitated toward the Vidaar ever since I saw the first pic.
I'll get something up this week, if I'm allowed.

Sorry, no early Vidaar pics please. You can post pics of the Elvorix if you got any. The Vidaar are coming soon, hopefully end of the month.
If I can't post them early... _________________ anthony@zombiesmith.com

Got my order yesterday. Minis look good. Few model lines and almost no flashing. Will prime later today. _________________ A prisoner of war is a Quar who tries to kill you and fails, and then asks you not to kill him. |
