I got some sheildwall stuff at kublacon and now that I got some painted I thought I would put them up here.

Here are some of the commanders:

I don't know who this guy is but he looks like some sort of shaman or sorcerer.

These are the Valani, their two weapon fighting style has earned them my favor so far of all the Jaarl.

All together now!

Niiice. I'm still filing my Vidaar and you've already got painted models! Yer speedy.

The Jaarl remind me of "Where the Wild Things Are" & one of the Elvorix heroes is reminiscent of Frazetta's "Death Dealer". I'm loving it.

Ha! Yes yes! @ the Jaarl!

Elvorix - a bit of stretch Wink Laughing but I like! Very Happy
(Maybe I should paint them black with red eyes!)

My brother is painting Vidaar so when he's done I'll do some comparison shots. They are around the same size right?

I can't say with 100% certainty, but in the demo I played I think they were the same heighth. The Jaarl are *definitely* wider, though. Wink

I thought Jaarl were a bit shorter, but maybe it is just that they look shorter bc they are stockier.

congrats on getting them done so fast!

I did get my Elvorix that I bought filed and glued to bases, but still need to put ground fill on the base, and oh yeah.. paint them. Laughing

Looking good! I like their beady little eyes with the vertical pupils.

I think the Elvorix/Vidaar are about the same height, possibly a hair taller, than the Jaarl. Not overly noticeable, though - the Jaarl do tend to look a bit shorter just because their build is so stocky.

hey,

Here's a quick pic using some figures I had here. The Elvorix/Vidaar use the same armature so will be the same height standing up but I hunched over a lot of the Vidaar poses so some of the figures may appear shorter (like this one).

I painted these shield guys around a month or two ago and I never got the opportunity to take pictures until today.

Peekaboo!

The whole shield section together

All of them together. Sorry for the horrid lighting, the sun must hate me or something.

I'm not sure how many of these guys I'll ever be able to use in a game. The Jaarl seem pretty powerful especially with the Hardened ability.
