I'm thinking about getting the 2 player conflict set. I have some of the skirmish sets and I'd really like to get into bigger battles with the Quar. How does the 2 player conflict set compare to most normal sized TQW games? How long does a battle with the set usually last? I'm wondering if it is enough to give you a good feel for the game?

It is certainly a good place to start. I would call the set a small to medium sized game's worth of minis, with a game lasting in the one to two hour timeframe depending on knowledge of the rules.
