Love WOW, and many of us in the local gaming group play, its just getting everyone together to play that is hard. *sigh*
Now...mention 40K and people come a runnin' ( I really hate that!)

We'd talked about playing Flames of War, but he nix'd that!
I think I still prefer Blue Max, as it has a little more detail, but this one is easy enough for anyone to get the FIRST time around. _________________ "Caerten Nay’ar's right behind me apparently, and says calm as can be ... Now those are cool. There's a guy is Dallas who scratch-built these for his WoW games, and I have two. And I don't even play the game, but I m thinking I might have to.

Big enough to elevate 1 Quar with an H11-a!
I think it's at least 6 inches, the planes are roughly 3.

Someone said $40-$60, but I haven't seen that yet. I did see on boardgamegeek a 46euro price tag.
When I first started thinking about an airship, it was this design I thought of first.
Pretty awesome miniature.

Quite pricey, methinks. Has anyone tried out the Skytrex one? And still there's this one, too. For $ 18.00...
These might work with the forthcoming 15mm Quar. _________________ TANK POLO? God, how our gardener hated that game! |

Thanks for posting these. I knew about the Skytex model, but the Armaments in Miniature is a new one I hadn't seen. I grew up in Ohio, and the family used to go to the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB every year or two. They've got one of these ballons hanging there, ominously.

That's the second one I've mentioned. Looks pretty much the business for the 15mm Quar to me. I like it a lot. _________________ TANK POLO? God, how our gardener hated that game! |
