Aye, I was going to ask if we could have a consolidated PDF, or book of some sort

I was rereading some of these great stories - I think we could make some great scenarios for TQW & SOA out of them (or based loosely around them Very Happy )

The first one is a variation on 'the Last Dawn'

TQW scenario

Partisans v/s Royalists

The Partisans (Veteran mercs from the story) have to open the gates to the beseiging Crusader army

The Royalists have to stop the turncoats.

Would need rules for the gate, etc

The 'Back 40' would make a great SoA scenario.

6 Partisans (all with bolt action rifles) against 6 Crusaders (3 sappers with 2 mines each and a pistol, 3 Guards with bogens).

The Sappers are laying a field of anti-tractor mines - but the local farmer's having none of it and will try to drive them off. The Crusaders gain victory points for each mine laid in addition to normal. Layign a mine takes a full action and they are unable to move, sheet, etc.

The Partisans win if they drive off the Sappers! Smile

I was thinking for 'Krysters in Fidwog' it could be translated into a TQW scenario where the Krysters are trying to sneak away from the crusader lines and join the Fiddies.

The Krysters have to make it to the Fidwog trenches. The Crusaders have to stop them. The Fidwoggers have to slow the crusaders enough to let the Krysters get to them...

For 'up, up and away' as a SoA scenario much like 'Not in my neighbourhood'. The Royalists have learned of a flight of Crusader interceptor Kites being relocated - they send their best trench raiders to go behind enemy lines and burn the kites before proper security can be set up.

The Royalists (a trench team of 3 + a sniper team of 2) have to sneak in and burn the 3 Parked kites. The Crusaders have 3 pilots with pistols and 6 ground crew with Bogens. The sides in the scenario could easily be swapped or the attacker replaced with Partisans and the defender with Militia.

Another variation on Up, Up & Away could be a TQW replication of the famous SAS raid against the airfield.

Krysters v/s Crusaders.

The 3 Kites, a fuel dump and a radio tent is deployed in the middle of the table. The Krysters have 2 Sothwyr armoured tractors which are deployed on any table edge. The Crusaders have 2 squads of infantry which must be deployed in 4 units of 5 - one at each table edge. An is-caerten & 3 pilots are deployed in the radio tent.

I was thinking for Moth Season you could have a SOA scenario where hungry partisans (or deserters) are trying to raid a wharehouse - the sept owning the warehouse (milita) respond in fury!

Using the rules for carrying crates from the scenario 'double cross' the partisans have to get as many crates of moths off the table as they can - the Militia just have to stop them. Smile

For Lucky I was thinking it could be a SOA scenario where one side tries to steal the mascot of the opposing side and thereby deal a deadly blow to their moral. Renamed to 'Stealing Lucky'! Smile

Royalists v/s crusaders

Royalist: Veteran Trench Fighter team (3) + 2 redshirts with harlechs
Crusader: 5 Rhyflers (4 Bogens, 1 Ryshi) + 1 angry Cook with pistol and cooking pan

The mission starts with the Royalists in possession of Lucky in No-Man's land. Woken by the alert siren the Crusaders have to get Lucky back!!!

Obviously it could be Crusaders stealing a Royalist mascot - or Partisan's stealing a local village's prize pig and the militia trying to recover it - etc.

It's a sad one - but 'Out West' might make an interesting SOA scenario.

5 Partisans with rifles v/s a Crusader squad of ten

The Partisans have 12 Cadiers or 3 faerfs whcih they have top protect. The Crusaders are out to kill them all for lunch!

A variation might be to mount all the Partisans on Cadiers to give them extra mobility - or maybe give the Cusaders a lorry with an LMG... ewww!

Wireless would make a fun TQW scenario - based on the same scenario where a militia group holds back a Coftryan advance with the help of some Pykpyks (the name eludes me at the moment).

The Royalists have two Cheese wheels, a HMG squad and an infantry squad.

The Crusaders have a single squad and a wireless - they can attempt to call for support each Yawdryll Phase.

Maybe the wireless could be represented by a dice role:
1-3 Nothin'
4-6 - roll again:
1 - Bombers delivering 'How to Surrender Pamplets',
2 - a lorry with LMG and food supplies
3 - a pair of Kites straff the enemy,
4 - a sniper arriving to assist them,
5 - 3 mortar rounds fired from off the table (artillery),
6 - 3 baelog rounds fired from off the table (artillery),

the trouble would be how do you stop the Royalists from just rolling over the crusaders...

For Vae Victis I though something along the lines of a SOA scenario with a mix of 'Convoy raid' and 'Not in my neighbourhood'

5 Royalist Trucks moving along in convoy have to be destroyed by 10 Partisans (1 with Ptn 7n - the rest with bolt action rifles) with a Bytt'lbom each.

The Black Rose I thought could be a pitched battle between Partisans & Militia.

A scenario could include 5 Veteran Partisans & 3 Partisan Wagons v/s 10 Militia and and an old surplus light Tank... nasty!
