In the words of a colleague, "Paris is just another big dirty city." Razz

I kid, I love it here and have perhaps been enjoying my first month in Paris to excess (as it should be!). If we keep going the way we have been we'll run out of money and have to come home early! Yesterday ended up being our "day off" since we were on the go all week and last weekend.

Finished up a few more members for Team Zissou, although I haven't found a decent printable version of the flag I'm after so that's not done yet.

I'm patiently waiting for you to convert a Bond Company Stooge to observe and report on Team Zissou.

Don't think I haven't thought about it! Still bouncing ideas around, but a short-sleeved Crusader with a green-stuffed tie and the right paint job might do the trick. Porbably a bare head with goggles/glasses, unless I wanted to convert him to be blind-folded - would make a good objective marker for Team Zissou!

In the meantime, here are a few more (ordinary green) Crusaders, and a converted Kryst marksman:

Enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback!

I like the way the marksman conversion came out, too. I always thought Kryst should have some snipers or marksmen, and the yawdryl with binoculars seems like a good candidate for it. Since the Angrodd and Harlech have similar stats, I figured the Coftyran marksman profile would fit the bill for a Kryster with a scoped Angrodd. The greenstuff wrappings around the center of the gun bulge out a bit, but it would require disassembling that whole part to fix, so I'm not in any rush to do it.

Greetings Crusader,

I positively love the red-tinged brown contrasted with rich blue and black. Fantastic work, please do indeed post more.

Thanks for the kind words! I kind of made up my Kryst palette as I went along when I painted my first mini for the faction. Wasn't in love with the way he turned out at first, but it's grown on me to the point that, of my existing collection, they're probably my favorites.

It'll be a bit until I get to add anything to this thread - moving back to the States in 3 weeks but I'll be subletting for a couple of months before I get settled in, so there sadly won't be any time for painting Sad

Still got plenty of quar to paint, though!

Hey Tom,
Wish you and the misses a safe and "uneventful" return to the US. Fish and I are very much looking forward to your return and more great games!

Be safe and well.

'Bout dang time I added something, here!

Some of these have been painted for a while, but I've been waiting until I finished off all of my remaining partisans (well, they were all of my remaining partisans until I bought the new civilians, that is).

The palette is a bit more muted on these three than my previous partisans, which were pretty vibrant, but I think they look pretty good side-by-side all the same. As per Maccionath's challenge some time back:

The Rhyfler on the far right is sporting a tweed jacket!

I painted the kit up in the same colors as the Yawdryl - as Fish said, "like father, like son."

And a group shot of my partisans to date:

As always, enjoy!

Thanks!

SKB asked what I base my minis on, so I thought I'd leave a post here. I use Renedra's 25mm round bases, which I usually just get from the War Store ($4 for 50 bases):
