I had a group of figures that I always wanted and thought they would be nice but no one every made them so I decided to make them myself. And all I have to say is WOW!!! Thank god for all you sculptors out there pushing putty, it’s not all that easy. So a big thanks to you who had sculpted all the figures we love.
Right now I must say that I am enjoying working on my secret figures (I’ll post them when I am done) but getting small detail is very challenging to say the least and I cheated by starting with a sculpting dolly (more like a completed nude figure) So I would have to say this is more of a conversion but I am sculpting most if not all of the clothing.
The most important thing I have learned so far is Patience is the key. I can’t tell you how hard that is for me so far I must have screwed up something like ten times by squishing what I had sculpted and trying to do more without proper drying. So now do a little bit and then move to the next figure. I should have learned from the Quar kit(child) I sculpted a bit ago but noooooooo. Any ways that’s what I am working on now. Have fun with whatever you are doing |
